About

Alyssa Cohen is an MLB Blogger and Tweeter. She began watching sports at a very young age, but never gained much interest until 2013. Alyssa started watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, but after a heartbreaking loss, she began searching for a new sport to fall in love with. Her mother and cousin Jordan, had always been long time die-hard Toronto Blue Jays fans. Her mother was at the 1993 World Series where Joe Carter “touched ’em all” and her cousin Jordan had been a long time seasons ticket holder, going to games daily. After a disappointing 2014 Blue Jays season, Alyssa decided to go to a Toronto Blue Jays game one Saturday afternoon in May (2015). She believes that to this day, the game she attended was truly one of the best days of her life, and she knew from that day on Baseball would become her new life-long passion. On a sunny day in August (2015), Alyssa transformed her personal twitter account into the all Blue Jays related twitter account that it is today. On January 14, 2016, she created her Blue Jays blog, and considers blogging to be her biggest passion. From attending Baseball games monthly with her family and friends, to having a following of over 1000+ people combined on all of her platforms, Alyssa Cohen has become a well respected Blue Jays writer and looks forward to all of the new Blue Jays adventures to come. On November 17, 2016, Alyssa Cohen became the newest member of the Baseball Bloggers Alliance. On August 5, 2017, Alyssa’s blog was ranked #77 on the Top 100 Baseball Blogs list.
